Jazmine Blas is a student at HCC studying theatre. She recently graduated from Houston's High School for Performing and Visual Arts. Her most recent credits include The University of Tamarie and A Very Tamarie Christmas (The Catastrophic Theater); the Matron/ensemble in Hairspray, Conchita in Anna in the Tropics, Frau Schmidt in The Sound of Music (HSPVA), and a co-writing and acting credit for Café Red at HSPVA and the Houston Fringe Festival. Jazmine speaks English, Spanish, and French.

Crystal has studied music and performance at Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and Berklee College of Music. She is cuurently at HCC studying Music Business and Contract Law. Previous roles include: Kate Monster in Avenue Q, Woman 2 in Songs for a New World, Eddie in Rocky Horror Picture Show, Victoria in A Grand Night for Singing, Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors. Special thanks go out to her family for always supporting her and "God for giving me the strength to pull this off."

Troy Scheid

director & costume designer

The founding director of Brave Little Company, Troy has worked with Black Lab Theatre (regional premiere, David Henry Hwang's Chinglish), Classical Theatre Company, Texas Repertory Theatre Company, the Landing Theatre Company, Opera Vista, Prague Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Collide, and Main Street Theater, where among numerous projects she has directed two world premieres by Y York, ...and L.A. Is Burning and Woof. As a mentor/director of student writers, she has worked with the Alley Theatre's Houston Young Playwrights Exchange and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Troy is a theatre educator with over fourteen years' experience. She is a graduate of Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and of Rice University, and participated in the 2015 Creating with the Cart program with London's Oily Cart and Rose Bruford College. 

 

Jodi Bobrovsky

resident set & props designer

As a freelance artist in Houston for 25 years, Jodi has designed scenery, props, costumes and projections for many local theaters including, Stark Naked Theater; Main Street Theater; Classical Theatre Company; Black Lab Theatre, Mildred’s Umbrella; Texas Repertory Theatre; Generations Theatre; Musiqa; Moores School of Opera; University of Houston School of Theater; College of the Mainland; The Ensemble Theatre; The Landing Theatre; TUTS Humphries School; Main Street Youth Theater; Unity Theater Brenham; Houston Grand Opera; Houston Ballet; Catastrophic Theater and Infernal Bridegroom productions. As Stages Repertory Theater’s resident Properties Master for 13 seasons, favorite projects include: Wittenberg; Mr. Marmalade; Lobster Alice; and Bat Boy. Scenic designs for Stages Repertory Theatre include: Yankee Tavern; A Picasso; Panto Pinocchio; An Infinite Ache; Syncopation; Elizabeth Rex; Anton in Show Business; The Great American Trailer Park Musical (2005). Her scenic design models have been exhibited at the American Institute of Architecture. She was recently featured in The Houston Press’s“Top 100 Creatives” blog.
