JAZMINE BLAS

Jazmine Blas is a graduate of the High School for Performing and Visual Arts, where she studied musical theatre. Her recent credits include the SIN MUROS festival at Stages Repertory Theatre, Museum of Dysfunction X at Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company, Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Pasadena Little Theatre), Chico Canta in Bravo, Chico Canta! Bravo! (Brave Little Company), Kid Agent in Under Siege! (Children's Museum of Houston), ensemble in The University of Tamarie (The Catastrophic Theater), and Conchita in Anna in the Tropics (HSPVA). This is her second show with Brave Little Company! She is happy to be back.


BRITTNY BUSH

Brittny Bush (Actor Collaborator) has performed with many Houston companies including Classical Theatre Company, Cone Man Running, Boiling Point Players, Main Street Theater, Mildred’s Umbrella, and InterACTive Theater. Brittny is a teaching artist with Main Street Theater and the Hope Stone Project. She is a native Houstonian with a BA in Theatre from the University of Houston.


LISA FELSKE

Since 2006, Lisa Felske has served the Curriculum Director for Science at the Teaching and Learning Center at Harris County Department of Education (HCDE). She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Rice University. She was awarded a Leadership in Education award from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1997, was named Houston ISD's Outstanding Young Educator in 1998, and received HCDE's Exceptional Service Award in 2009. Many of her numerous professional development presentations focus on teaching science and literacy by drawing on the arts and children's literature. 


RODRICK RANDALL

Rodrick Randall is a native Houstonian who has been active in the Houston theatre and music scene since 2009. He has performed with theatre companies such as Main Street Theater, Queensbury Theatre, Obsidian Theater, Ensemble Theatre, Bayou City Concert Musicals, Express Children’s Theatre, Masquerade Theater, Dionysus Theatre and Interactive Theater Company. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BFA- Acting/Directing. When he is not performing, Rodrick can be found backstage doing wardrobe for companies like Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera or Broadway Across America. He is also a proud member of the Theatrical Wardrobe Union - IATSE Local 896 - Houston/Galveston area.


DANny Russo

artist collaborator, Grandpa's Garden

Danny Russo (Artist Collaborator) is a native of Houston, Texas, where he makes his career as a visual artist. Educated in Houston schools, he received a BFA in art from the University of Houston. He teaches art through Young Audiences of Houston. In addition to drawing and painting, Danny is experienced in sculpture, serigraphy, papier-maché, and theatrical stage design and building. Being environmentally conscious, he works with materials that are safe for the user and the environment.

Troy Scheid is the founder of Brave Little Company, where she has directed Tomás and the Library Lady, CenicientaFrankenshop (for which she also led the creation of the script); and Bravo, Chico Canta! Bravo! (for which she also led the collaborative adaptation of the book by Pat Mora). Troy’s directorial work includes several regional and world premieres at Main Street Theater, Houston Grand Opera, the Ensemble Theatre, Mildred’s Umbrella Theatre Company, Classical Theatre Company, and The Landing Theatre Company, among others, and appeared in the New York New Works Theatre Festival (semi-finalist), the NYC Midtown International Theatre Festival, and the Rhinoceros Theatre Festival (Chicago). A theatre educator with over 16 years’ experience, she recently studied with Oily Cart, a London-based theatre creating theatrical experiences for children with complex disabilities, and will participate in professional development for artists at Lincoln Center as part of the 2018 Big Umbrella Festival, creating theatre for special populations. In 2017, she received an award from the Darfurian Association of Greater Houston for collaborating with the refugee community on the Landing Theatre’s production of In Darfur.  She is a graduate of Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Rice University, and Rice’s Leadership Institute for Non-Profit Executives.


RICHARD SOLIS

Richard Solis is an actor, props designer, and teaching artist with over 25 years of experience in each. Now a Prop Master for a Disney on Ice Tour, Richard is a founding company member of the original Magik Theatre in San Antonio under the direction of Richard Rosen, from 1993 - 2002 and 2011 - 2017. He worked at Houston's Main Street Theater as properties master, actor, and educator from 2002-2011. Richard's acting and stagecraft work has also been seen at Houston Shakespeare Festival and Children's Theatre Festival, Dionysus Theatre, Theatre New West, Talento Bilingüe de Houston, InterActive Theatre, Express Children's Theatre, Dallas Children's Theatre (National Touring Company), San Antonio Symphony, San Antonio Shakespeare Festival, Classic Theatre of San Antonio, and Woodlawn Pointe.


jASON WRIGHT

actor collaborator, Grandpa's Garden

This is Jason's fourth production in children's theatre, but he has been acting for eight strong years. Other productions include You're a Good man Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown), Freckleface Strawberry (Danny), and Akeelah and the Bee (Dr. Larabee). Jason pursues Improv and Musical Theatre on the daily, and hopes to impact people's lives for the better.
